For over 140 years, Immanuel Lutheran Church and School has been spreading the love of Jesus Christ, starting from a small day school in 1868 in Honey Creek (rural Jefferson City). The congregation officially formed in 1870 with a log cabin church, and today boasts over 600 members and a school with more than 120 students.
The sanctuary, built in the mid-1990s, hosts over 350 worshippers each week, while a stone building from 1924, which has faithfully housed the school, is currently undergoing a 21,000 square foot expansion. This growth reflects not just in numbers but also in the congregation’s deepening faith. Visit us to experience the message of Jesus’ love firsthand!
